Blueprint12, in collaboration with Space118 Art Foundation, will present The Shifting of Silence, a fundraising exhibition featuring works by 32 emerging contemporary artists from across India. Curated by Saloni Doshi, Founder of Space118 Art Foundation, the exhibition will open with a preview on 29 July 2026 and remain on public view from 30 July to 2 August 2026 at the LTC Building, Bikaner House, New Delhi. The proceeds will support the Space118 Fine Arts Grant, an initiative that provides financial assistance, mentorship and professional development opportunities to emerging artists.
A Fundraising Initiative for Emerging Artists

The exhibition has been conceived as both an artistic presentation and a fundraising platform. By directing proceeds towards the Space118 Fine Arts Grant, the organisers aim to create a sustainable model that enables collectors to directly contribute to the growth of India’s contemporary art ecosystem. Since its establishment, the grant has supported artists through financial aid, production assistance, mentorship and professional reviews, helping early-career practitioners develop their practices.
Responding to a Changing World

The Shifting of Silence explores how artists respond to an increasingly complex world shaped by climate change, urbanisation, geopolitical conflict and the growing influence of artificial intelligence. Rather than addressing these developments through direct commentary, the participating artists examine ideas of growth, erosion, memory and resilience through painting, sculpture, installation, photography and mixed-media practices.
The exhibition also reflects on silence as a social and political condition, considering how individuals and communities process uncertainty, grief and responsibility during periods of conflict and transformation. Landscapes, bodies and natural materials become recurring motifs that examine the relationship between presence, absence and collective memory.
Collaboration Between Blueprint12 and Space118

Speaking about the collaboration, Blueprint12 Co-founder Mandiraa Lambba described the partnership as a natural extension of the gallery’s long-standing commitment to supporting artists beyond conventional gallery practices. Co-founder Riddhi Bhalla noted that the collaboration strengthens opportunities for emerging practitioners while contributing to the wider contemporary art landscape.
Curator Saloni Doshi said the exhibition continues Space118 Art Foundation’s mission of creating meaningful platforms for artistic dialogue while extending its support for artists through the Space118 Fine Arts Grant.
Founded in 2012, Blueprint12 has developed an artist-focused programme centred on curatorial mentorship, publications and international participation, including presentations at Art Dubai and Frieze Seoul. Space118 Art Foundation, established in 2009, has become known for its grants, residencies and mentorship initiatives supporting multidisciplinary artistic practices in India and internationally.
